I previously blogged about the restoration of the old Fox Theater in downtown Riverside. During lunch while I have been on jury duty, I walked down to try to get some pics of where the project is. As you can see, they have gutted and are working on the retrofitting and foundation work, I will be surprised if they finish this year. Note on the pics the still to be addressed cupola roof which appears to be close to a collapse. It would seem that to work on the project for safety that would have to address that. Perhaps it only cosmetically bad.
I will visit again in a month our so to see if there is any progress visible from the street. I suspect that there will be little to be seen from the street.
Thanks for looking.
